Ingrid and James held the second planning session for the DMU Square Mile radio reporters club which was renamed Square Mile Reports.
This blog has been set up as a way for everyone to get involved and follow the progress of this project.
It was a very successful day of planning and sorting out all the admin that need to happen behind the scenes to get this project up and running.
Both James and Ingrid now have full access to the DemonFM studios and facilites as well as the recording equipment to give out to the new volunteers.
Ingrid and James have written a general press relase for the the project as well as a poster.They met with Rob Watson during the day who gave general advise on the recording equipment and helped with technical issues surrounding DemonFM.
The first Square Mile Reports show will be broadcasts on the 11 December 2011 following the Square Mile Christmas Fair at the Fosse Community Centre on the 10 December. At this event Ingrid and James plan to make an announcement about Square Mile Reports and hope to raise some interest and recruit new volunteers. They will use the content from this for the radio show.
Next week will be an exciting time in the life of Square Mile Reports.
